Will it work right away on my Mac?
Install it on a Mac running macOS 14 or later and allow microphone access. Dictation runs locally with no AI account needed. For AI Summary, use Apple Intelligence on an eligible Mac with macOS 26 or later, or choose OpenAI, OpenRouter, or an installed Ollama model in Settings.
Can I buy on my phone and install it later?
Yes. After payment, your confirmation page opens immediately and we email a private download link to the address used at checkout. Open that link on the Mac where you want to install Yaprflow; it securely rechecks your purchase before showing the installer. No Yaprflow account is required.
Is it really unlimited?
Yes. Local dictation has no daily, weekly, or monthly word allowance and no Yaprflow usage-based billing. Processing speed and available storage depend on your Mac. Optional external AI providers have their own terms and charges.

How does dictation work?
Press Command-T, talk, then press it again. Yaprflow copies the finished text to your clipboard, ready for Command-V in Mail, Slack, Notes, a browser, or any other Mac app.
Which languages can I speak?
The Mac app automatically detects 25 supported European languages, including English, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, German, Dutch, Polish, and Ukrainian.
Does my voice leave my Mac?
Dictation audio is processed locally and discarded after transcription. History stays on your Mac. If you choose OpenAI or OpenRouter for AI Summary, selected text and prompts go directly to that provider. The optional microphone demo on this website uses cloud transcription. Read the browser-demo disclosure before trying it.
Are there separate AI or token charges?
There are no extra charges for Yaprflow’s local dictation. Apple Intelligence uses on-device models on supported Macs. You can already choose OpenAI, OpenRouter, or Ollama; cloud providers may bill your own account. Your API key stays in your Mac Keychain.
What can it do with a finished transcript?
Use clean or exact dictation modes, then run AI Summary with your own prompt to rewrite, summarize, structure, or pull out action items. AI features depend on your chosen provider. Save the transcript on your Mac and find it again later.
